Everybody loves honey because of the sweet taste and the different health benefits that it provides. Manuka honey is a monofloral honey that comes from New Zealand and Australia. It is called ‘monofloral’ because the bees get nectar only from one species of plant. The manuka honey is obtained from the nectar of the manuka tree, thus the name. Monofloral honey usually has a higher value because of their distinctive taste.
